Job Search Strategy: How do I land the job I want?

Job Support Group

Want to re-energize your job search? Tired of going it alone? Looking for career development? Come to the Job Support Group and receive expert advice from a trained career counselor and support from other professionals. Topics each week are determined by the group. Past discussions have included networking, resume development, interviewing techniques, managing the manager, employee and self motivation and strategic goal setting. The group is on-going and drop-ins are welcome.

Time: Mondays, 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Career Strategy Team

Stay motivated in your job and career search and keep your plan on track by working with a small group (6 – 8 people) and a trained career counselor. You will meet each week to discuss your objectives as well as strategies to overcome blocks in meeting your goals. This highly interactive process is designed so that each individual is an active member of the strategy team. Accountability is built into this format and ongoing participation is required of all members as you will support each other in the job search process. Some pre-work is expected and space is limited so register early! (Please note that this is not a self-assessment course and all participants should have at least a general idea of their career path. For more information, please contact the course instructor.)

Cost: $150 for sessions (Groups can and have continued!)

Time: Mondays, 11:00am – 1:00pm
