Job Search Strategy: How do I land the job I want?

Intensive Interviewing practice with Coaching

Are you sure you’re presenting yourself in the best way possible during interviews and in other business settings?  Develop and practice appropriate responses to difficult questions.  Be prepared to ensure you are more confident during an interview. A private 90-minute session tailored to your needs can include a videotape or disc.

Cost: $150 or three 90 minute sessions for $400.

Job Support Group

Want to re-energize your job search? Tired of going it alone? Looking for career help? Come to the Job Support Group and receive expert advice from a trained career counselor and support from other professionals. Topics each week are determined by the group. Past discussions have included networking, resume writing, interviewing techniques, managing your manager, how to stay motivated and strategic goal setting. The group is on-going and drop-ins are welcome. Job Club meets every Monday except for holidays and designated workshop nights.  Please check the website for schedule.  We keep our group relatively small to allow for personal attention, group conversation and meaningful interaction.

Dates:Mondays

Time: 6:00-7:30pm

Cost: $30 for four meetings (Buy a $30 card good for any four meetings)

Maintaining Your Sense of Self in the Workforce: Self-Esteem on the Job, in the Search Process, and After Job Loss

Have you found yourself saying, "Yikes, where did my self-esteem go?" Wondering what you can do to get back in the game? Then this interactive workshop is custom made for you. You will learn about the idea of situational self-esteem and the concept that certain isolated incidents can temporarily block your progress. Learn specific exercises and techniques to get you moving again! This session is open to those currently employed and individuals in transition.
