Anne Sparks, M.L.S.
Areas of Expertise
Anne enjoys helping people who feel stuck or overwhelmed with the job search process, making a career change or moving ahead professionally. She especially likes assisting clients in discovering their skills and abilities, their personality and temperament and how these affect their career satisfaction. She can help them break down the job search process into smaller more manageable steps so that she and her client can design their own individual plan for moving ahead.
Currently, she is particularly sympathetic to those many new grads and generation X’ers who are in the grip of the newly identified “quarterlife crisis”. Many young adults between the ages of 23 and 35 are really struggling to find their way in an increasingly complicated culture which offers endless options at the same time it often demands graduate school with its attendant GRE exams and huge financial obligations. Together these factors are creating a kind of paralysis or quarterlife crisis that is real and all too overwhelming for so many young people. She can help them sort through their fears, show them how to identify skills and accomplishments, understand the hidden job market, how to build a network and then make a realistic plan based on their own individual interests and abilities.
