Areas of Expertise

My expertise includes counseling individuals with an emphasis on the whole-life process. I have successfully helped clients with diverse backgrounds gain deeper understanding about themselves and therefore make positive career choices. I utilize a variety of creative assessments specifically tailored to the individual. I work with individuals to help them identify key values and motivators so we can collaboratively develop a strategic plan. I also coach people on work issues and assist them in developing better skills to navigate office politics and interpersonal dynamics.

As a career counselor and coach, I am committed to helping clients identify and remove blocks toward career satisfaction. I then work with clients to empower them to reach their goals. My task is to help individuals move forward in their careers and professional lives.

Qualifications

I have a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Trinity College and a M.Ed. in administration from Boston University. Additionally, I completed a post-graduate certificate in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University. I am also an APT qualified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and a member of both the National and California Career Development Association.

Background

I have over 12 years’ experience working with clients in a variety of corporate, educational and non-profit environments. As a former employee of Procter & Gamble, college administrator and counselor, high school founder and start-up entrepreneur, my clients range in background, interest and age. I am an experienced facilitator and enjoy working with people one-on-one and in group settings.
